Universidad Vi帽a del Mar

The Universidad Vi帽a del Mar is an accredited, private university with over 30 years of experience providing quality education to its Chilean and international students alike.

The UVM is located in the fifth region of Chile, just one and half hours from Santiago and 20 minutes from the historical coastal city of Valparaiso. On top of being considered the university city of Chile, Vi帽a del Mar provides a safe, economically stable environment where students can learn and grow in their knowledge of the culture.

Pluralism and Diversity



UVM has four campuses located in Vi帽a del Mar that aim to provide students with the most accommodating academic environment allowing them to have the necessary tools to learn, study, and enjoy extra-curricular activities.

Each campus houses its own library and computer labs with materials relating to each field of study.

UVM鈥檚 main campus is located in Rodelillo, Vi帽a del Mar. The Schools of Health Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Education, Communications, Engineering, and Veterinary Medicine all have their departments located on this campus.

The Rodelillo campus houses UVM鈥檚 modern gymnasium, professional sized soccer field, main library, the Microvinification Research Plant, and the veterinary hospital that treats animals from the local community. This campus also has a computer lab, cafeteria, patio, and study area for students to enjoy between classes.

The university provides free shuttles with a regular schedule to facilitate the arrival and departure of students to this campus.

This campus is located in the residential neighborhood of Recreo and is home to the Office of International Cooperation and the School of Business. The campus also has a library, computer lab, cafeteria, patio, and study area for students to enjoy between classes.

This campus is located in the residential neighborhood of Miraflores and houses our School of Legal and Social Sciences and School of Agriculture and Design. Similar to the Recreo campus, this campus has its own library, computer lab, patios, cafeteria, and study areas for students.

UVM has a dentistry clinic and medical practicum center in addition to the four campuses. The clinics are located on 15 Norte and centrally located in Vi帽a del Mar. These clinics provide our nursing and dentistry students practical training while also providing an affordable health service to the local community.
